Every meeting with the great man is a moment of creative bliss, but geographical distances still exist in this world, though one can easily forget it. 7x7th Street has been made possible by the intense use of communication technologies. When these means aren’t reliable, time takes time. Finally and happily Mulatu’s offering in D was delivered, but just weeks before the Edinburgh premiere, making it impossible for the sculpture to be painted and silk-screened.
